Auburn is in Alabama, in the Southeast, where summers are long, hot and humid, winters are mild, and afternoon thunderstorms and the hurricane season from June to November can change plans at short notice. Getting around Auburn is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across Alabama's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Im only giving them even 2 stars because they're open 24/7. Over half of the machines are broken and they do not have laundry carts for moving clothes from the washer to the dryer. With this many machines down is impossible to wash anything here if there's other people around.

They have plenty of machines available. Cool thing is although being coin operated, they have change machine (you put in 1,5,10 or 20 dollar bills and get equal amount of quarters). They have vending machines for cola and chips. Another good thing is they have waiting zones where you can read or work on your laptop.

2.5/5 stars place is old, run down, and pretty unkept. the smallest washers are $3 for a wash and extras. which is alright. most of, if not, ALL of the washers are gross and unmaintained with dry and old detergent or just filled with what i assume is old water (mixed with some bleach perhaps?). if you have a small load of laundry and need somewhere quick and cheap to do it, this place is alright but id go somewhere else if i were you. i’m only here because i prefer to do laundry at an actually laundromat

The majority of their washers are broken or out of order. The prices are ridiculous and predatory. 2.50$ for a small load without extra cleans, rinses, or spins, and 4.00$ for a large load. The detergent slots are moldy, mildew-y, and crusted over with old soaps and cleaners. For what they charge, you'd expect better conditions for customers. I'm disgusted by the prices and conditions. We deserve better.

Thach Hut Laundry in Auburn has become my absolute favorite. It's open 24/7, which is incredibly convenient, and the prices are the most budget-friendly I've found in the area. Most importantly customer service is great. If there's ever a problem with a machine or the change machine runs out of quarters, they're always there to fix it promptly. It's a relief knowing I can rely on them for hassle-free laundry every time!!
